Sarah Wiggin

Sarah is a professional actor and director who has worked in Chicago, New York, and Washington, DC. Sarah earned her MFA in Acting & Directing from the University of Arizona.


Sarah is a proud working member of the Actor’s Equity Association (AEA) and the Screen Actor’s Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA). She has worked professionally with theatres such as The Shakespeare Theatre, Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, Ford’s Theatre, Everyman Theatre, Washington Shakespeare Company, The Folger Theatre, and regional companies nationwide. Favorite roles include Becca in Rabbit Hole, Thea Elvsted in Hedda Gabler, Ophelia in Hamlet, and Rowena in Biloxi Blues.  Her on-camera work includes Law & Order: SVU and God’s and Generals, as well as independent film, industrial, and print work.


Sarah is also a founding member of the Resident Artist Ensemble, a professional theatre company dedicated to creating artist-led, ensemble-driven theatre; and providing an artistic home for local, long-term, professional collaboration in Southwest Missouri.  Sarah is an Assistant Professor at Missouri State University.
